Having impact sounds like white noises and sound effects on your drop will greatly improve the energy of the track.
Not everyone is aware but the Digitakt has a special trigger for this called “1ST”. That will trigger the sample only the first time the pattern plays.
If you have a line above it, it means it will only play after the first time and will continue. This is great to add hihats for example. A pattern is then automatically double the length.
